Senior Nurse Educator Med Surg

• BSN, MSN preferred
• 5 years’ experience with Med Surg units
• EXPERIENCE:  Five or more years’ experience of progressively more responsible job related experience in Nursing, with at least two years of teaching experience in a BSN medical surgical program.  Experience in a nursing advanced practice role (education, clinical or administrative) is preferred.
• ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE: Approximately one year to gain familiarity with the Hospital environment, department routines and procedures, and the full range of job duties.
• PROBLEM SOLVING: Job requires the highest level of problem solving.  The work requires identifying and resolving very complex problems, such as developing innovative solutions based on extensive cross-functional knowledge of the entire the organization.
